Terms & Conditions

The Terms and Conditions set out below are to assist us in providing the best possible outcome for your event. We ask that you read and consider them carefully and if you have any queries please ask us for further assistance.

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS

Tentative bookings for requested dates made verbally or in writing, will be held up to five (5) days only. Games2u Adelaide reserves the right to release any dates or bookings that are not confirmed with a deposit of 50% of the estimated value within the five (5) day allocated time period. Dates will be made available to the general public and all booking enquiries following this time.
Please note: Total balance will be required ten (10) days prior to your event (or as per arrangement) as per booking policy, in order for event to proceed.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation of bookings must be advised in writing/email.
Please note: Deposits for cancellations are non-refundable & forfeited for any bookings cancelled within fourteen (14) days of your event. Cancellations within twenty-one (21) days will receive 50% of the deposit amount refunded.

COVID-19

If a child shows flu-like symptoms, we'll let you know immediately, for the safety of all concerned. All our equipment is cleaned extensively before every event. In most cases, we also clean during an event.

We practice social distancing with all activities.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE

All events that are booked on any Public Holiday will incur a twenty-five percent (25%) surcharge. This amount will be required in addition to deposit amount at time of payment.

MILEAGE SURCHARGE

Applies to any distance requiring a time of 45 minutes and over from our Franchise head office - Glenelg South in SA and Macarthur or Nepean in NSW (calculated in the booking form). Travel time is calculated by Google Maps. (Quoted on request at time of booking).

AFTER HOURS SURCHARGE

There is a surcharge for events that start after 5:00pm.

VENUE

The use of Council venues to be organised by customer. Games2u Adelaide can assist on request.
Any venue fees will be at customer’s expense.
Permissions, such as use of a generator etc, are also to be organised by the customer.
Flat driveways are preferred when bookings are based at private or residential premises.

WEATHER

Under extreme circumstances game options may be altered with a minimum of 4 hours’ notice to Games2u management. In the event of extreme heat, rain or thunderstorms during any event or party - Games2u Staff have the right to deem the situation unsafe to continue. Should the Games2u operating manager deem the weather unsafe to continue due to extreme weather refunds will not be given if all activities could not be completed.

DRESS REGULATIONS

Closed in shoes are advised to wear for Laser Tag and Bumper Ball activities.

LIMITATIONS

Adult supervision of children is required at all times. Undesirable and offensive behaviour will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to cancel use of products or eject persons if miss-use or anti-social behaviour is demonstrated. Changes to event set-up cannot be accepted seven (7) days prior to event.

INSURANCE

Games2u Adelaide and its employees try to take care with your belongings: however, no responsibility will be taken for loss or damage to any guests merchandise or property prior to, during or after the event.

LOSS OR DAMAGES

The customer is responsible for all participating guests, and shall be liable to pay for any equipment not returned for any reason whatsoever and the cost of repair or replacement when necessary of any equipment found by Games2u Pty Ltd not to be in good order and condition on its return (whether caused by negligence, accident, misuse or any other cause.)

The customer indemnifies Games2u Adelaide against any damages to property when Games2u is commencing, participating and completing. All care is taken but no responsibility accepted.

PLAYING SURFACE

For safety reasons, if used outdoors, our Giant Hamster Ball must be used on a flat grassed surface. If the surface is on an incline or has materials that may puncture the balls, the Games2u operator has the right to refuse the use of these activities. It is the responsibility of the event organiser (not Games2u) to ensure all surfaces are suitable prior to booking of the venue.
